  • Driver-side bolster and individual seat-panel replacement
  • Seat foam, cushion shaping, lumbar and ergonomic adjustments

Built for Colorado conditions

Sun Damage, Winter Moisture & Well-Used Colorado Interiors

Colorado sun, seasonal temperature changes and mountain travel can take a toll on vehicle interiors. Leather and vinyl may become faded or worn; winter moisture can affect carpets and padding; and everyday hauling of skis, bikes and outdoor gear can wear cargo trim, seatbacks and interior panels.

Fine Line evaluates practical repair and replacement options for sun-damaged dashboards, worn leather bolsters, damaged carpet and padding, cargo-area upholstery, vintage 4×4 interiors, Jeep and Bronco upholstery, classic trucks and other frequently used vehicles. We serve Northglenn, Denver, Thornton and surrounding Colorado Front Range communities.

Answers before you book

Auto Upholstery Repair: Frequently Asked Questions

These are common questions customers ask when deciding whether to repair, restore or replace part of a vehicle interior.

How much does it cost to reupholster a car seat in Denver?
The price depends on your vehicle, whether one panel or the whole seat needs work, the condition of the padding and frame, and the material you select. Leather, patterned fabrics, special stitching and unavailable factory pieces can affect cost. Send us the year, make, model and photographs to discuss an estimate.
Can a torn leather seat be repaired without replacing the entire seat?
Often, yes. A torn bolster, damaged panel or split seam may be repairable or replaceable separately. A longer-lasting result depends on the wear around the damage, material condition and seat construction. We can explain when a targeted repair is practical and when recovering more of the seat makes sense.
Can faded, cracked or peeling leather car seats be restored?
Some surface wear and discoloration can be improved through appropriate refinishing, grain reconstruction or localized color matching. Deep cracks, failed material coatings and heavily deteriorated upholstery may require replacement rather than a cosmetic repair. We assess the material before recommending the approach.
Can you replace only the worn driver’s seat bolster?
Yes, when the vehicle’s seat design and safety requirements permit. We can discuss replacing an individual bolster or panel, matching material and stitching as closely as practical, and rebuilding padding if needed. Repairs involving airbag deployment seams or other safety-critical airbag components are excluded.
Can you match the original color, texture and stitching?
We work with leather, vinyl, cloth, Alcantara and other upholstery materials and can reproduce many factory-style patterns and details. Exact matches depend on age, sun fading, available suppliers and the original material. For rare and discontinued interiors, we can discuss suitable reproduction options.
Can a sagging headliner be repaired, or does it need replacement?
Sagging usually calls for more than pushing the fabric back into place. If the backing foam or adhesive has deteriorated, recovering the headliner is often a better long-term solution. We inspect the board, fabric, sunroof configuration and surrounding trim before quoting the work.
Can you replace car carpeting damaged by snow or water?
Yes. Fine Line can replace damaged carpeting and underpadding and discuss molded carpet kits or floor insulation. Before replacing materials, the source of water intrusion should be identified and corrected so the new interior does not become wet again.
Can cracked dashboards be repaired without replacing the complete dashboard?
Depending on the vehicle and damage, we can discuss trim restoration or a compatible DashSkin molded dashboard cover. Fine Line is authorized for DashSkin products. Some dashboards or cracks require a different repair approach, and compatibility must be checked by model.
Can cloth seats be changed to leather or custom upholstery?
Many vehicles are candidates for cloth-to-leather conversions or compatible aftermarket upholstery kits. The available styles, fitment, seat controls and safety-system design must be reviewed first. Compatible customer-supplied kits may be considered for installation when appropriate; Fine Line does not offer work on airbag deployment seams or safety-critical airbag components.
Do you restore classic, luxury and exotic car interiors?
Yes. We offer original-style restoration, reproduction upholstery patterns and materials, seat rebuilding, custom trim and full interior projects for classic, luxury, imported and specialty vehicles. We can discuss repair versus preservation of existing components, based on the owner’s objectives.
Can an out-of-state owner ship seats or door panels for restoration?
Yes. We accept select removable components for evaluation and upholstery restoration and coordinate some larger projects with restoration shops or vehicle transport providers. Contact us before arranging shipment or transport to confirm the project scope and handling details.
How long does upholstery repair or interior restoration take?
Turnaround depends on project size, material sourcing, vehicle complexity and our current workload. A small upholstery repair and a complete classic interior are very different projects. Contact us with photos and the vehicle details to discuss scheduling and the next step.
